It’s a hard subject to think about, but the truth is that leukemia takes the lives of children and young adults more than any other cancer. (In fact, my 15-year-old cousin died from it years ago.) The good news is that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is an organization that has invested more than $184 million in research aimed at helping patients and their families.
And now you can help this great cause and have a good time doing it. The big LLS Gala invites you to a night of celebration and hope with dinner, drinks, entertainment, dancing and a fabulous silent and live auction. The night will culminate with the crowning of the Man and Woman of the Year based on their success in raising funds for the charity.
Saturday, April 28, 6:30pm @ The Ritz-Carlton, 4375 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292. Tickets are $150.
