So it’s Friday night and you’re wishing you could hang out poolside somewhere because it’s summer and well, this is LA. But you don’t want to hang out at just any old pool because well, this is LA. And while you’re at it, you’d really like it if you could be transported back in time. Back to a time before you were born. A time when men were gentleman and ladies were, well … ladies. A time when everyone and everything just seemed more glamorous. Well, your wish may very well be coming true with the new Cointreau Poolside Soirees going on at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Going on every Friday night this summer (July 13 – August 25), the soirees will replicate a century’s worth of star-studded events at the legendary Pink Palace, which is celebrating 100 years. The retro revelry includes live performances by the fabulously glam Aqualillies (think Esther Williams for the modern set), chic Cointreau bar cart service, food and cocktails from the 100th Anniversary menu + special music performances by the likes of debonair crooner Luca Ellis (love him!). The seven-week series benefits Project Angel Food, which cooks and delivers free meals to men, women and children affected by life-threatening illness.
Friday nights, 6pm-8pm, until August 24 @ Beverly Hills Hotel, 9641 W. Sunset Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Free admission, cocktails & food available for purchase.
