Ever wonder how the cast of  “True Blood” always looks so believably vampiric? Or maybe you just want a discount on your latest make-up shopping spree. Whatever the case may be, the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show is making its latest tour stop at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 and it’s gonna be a pretty–and sometimes ugly–sight!

Professional and celebrity make-up artists working in the beauty, movie, TV and theatre industries will teach top trade techniques while movie make-up effects veterans will give you the inside scoop on successful tricks. Throughout the weekend, new products and tools will be revealed along with discounts on must-haves. There’s also a Make-up Museum showcasing make-up effects, sculptures and animatronics from some of the world’s best-known films and a student competition for best “beauty” and “character” looks.

This year’s show features new brands including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Inglot, BodyFX and Napoleon Perdis as well as regulars like Make Up For Ever, MAC, Nyx and Züca.
