Forget Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. The OG man in black will always be Johnny Cash. (And if your dad’s a badass, this could be a fun Father’s Day event.) Thousands of fans are expected to once again converge upon the Ventura County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 15 to celebrate one of the largest tribute concerts on West Coast. Live performances go on all day on two stages with acts including Chris Shiflett, lead guitarist of Foo Fighters, with his alt-country side project The Dead Peasants. The fifth annual festival will also feature the return of the Noble Fabrication “Drive On” Car & Bike Show, Johnny Cash memorabilia, pin-up girl pageant, kids corral and vendors offering food and drinks.
General admission tickets are $25 and discounted for active military personnel.
Saturday, June 15, 10am-8pm @ Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001.
