Think you got soul? Well, what about Seoul? If a trip to Korea isn’t in the cards, don’t worry. You can still travel to that faraway place (and go back in time) to immerse yourself in the country’s traditional music, dance and song–and you don’t need a passport! That’s because “Sound of Korea” comes to the Ford Amphitheatre (one of my favorite outdoor venues) on Friday, July 29. The glorious spectacle features vibrant costumes, colorful choreography (think beautiful girls crowned with flowers, bamboo flutes and a big finale of tightrope acrobatics!) and rousing music that’ll transport you to another world. Even better–the grounds open two hours before show time, so you can pack a picnic and enjoy dining under the stars before you take your seat . Sounds like a perfect Friday night.
SNEAK PEEK: Watch the “Sound of Korea” perform live on my “Good Day LA” Marpop Weekend Roundup this Thursday, July 28 @ 9am!
