Get ready to ruuuuuuumble!!!! On August 21, apron strings will fly at the Sunday Night Chef Fight cooking competition in Huntington Beach. Defending champion Nicola Bellazzi of Enne Cucina Italiana in San Clemente will go pan to pan with challenging chef James Harris of The Royal Hawaiian in Laguna Beach.
The two-hour showdown allows each audience member to sample and rate each chef’s dish to determine who will take the trophy, the title of “Champion Chef of Orange County” and proceed to the next showdown on Sunday, November 6th.
Washing it all down? Wine, of course. In addition to all the food, there’s a blind wine-tasting challenge where all audience members taste three wines, select a favorite and then vote on the winner before the name and varietal of each bottle are revealed.
Sunday, August 21, 6pm @ Standards of Excellence Showroom, 16001 Gothard Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. General Admission ($50) includes food samples & single pour of each wine; VIP Front Row ($80) includes priority seating, larger portions of each chef’s creation & two pours of each wine.
