Yee haw!!! It was a full circle moment for me when I had fitness guru Tony Little on the show. OMG I used to do his DVD workout videos with my aunt with him yelling “You can do ittttttttt!!! Do it good!!!!!” So when I had the chance to book him on “Good Day LA” I jumped at the chance. He told me I have more energy than he does, so that’s saying something! (FYI – he really does have hair under that hat, not a detachable ponytail! He even had our hairdresser fluff it out. Hilarez!) I was glad to help him get the word out about how important it is for parents to make exercise a part of daily life early on for their children and make it fun so they’ll stick with it throughout their lives.
Speaking of fun, I also had the Lewis Family from Agua Dulce, CA, come by to show us some cool rope tricks. It was the first time I’d ever tried something like that and I loved it! You can meet them at the Day of the Cowboy & Cowgirl at the Autry in Griffith Park on Saturday, July 26. The family event is all about letting your inner cowboy or cowgirl shine with BBQ, live performances and a variety of Western-themed activities. See ya ’round, partner!
