It was another AMAZE show today! This time I had my first encounter with the Big Good Wolf named Damu. He was absolutely ADORBS and so chill. (Although he did try to eat my microphone.) He loved hanging out in the bushes and trees, just being a wolf. (OMG obsessed!) He’s from Project Wildsong and will be at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 for the fun “Things That Go Bump in the Night” family event. I also had the fab folks from Taste of Soul bring in some of the food that will be at the big event this Saturday.
And now that Dia De Los Muertos is near, I couldn’t resist bringing in the cast of La Muerte Vive, my favorite Latino rock opera-meets-cabaret theatrical extravaganza. Celebrity actress Monica Potter (she’s soooo nice!) was also obsessed not only with the wolf, but also with La Muerte Vive. She kept asking me if she could take pix with them! This year they’ll perform on Saturday, October 25 at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach for the fundraiser gala and I WILL BE THERE as one of the Latina “celebs” (love it!), SO PLEASE GET YOUR TICKETS NOW & JOIN ME!!! They’ll perform again on November 1 with more entertainment, food & drinks, plus a Dia de los Muertos marketplace, face painting, photo booth and more!
