(Falling) On the Ice with the Anaheim Ducks!
What the puck?! LA is in the middle of major Dodger fever, but Orange County is amped up for the new ice hockey season with the Anaheim Ducks. I got my own personal slapshot lesson with #44 Sheldon Souray who held the record for five years at 106+ mph and despite what my co-workers said, I did not fall on purpose just so he could pick me up. (Although it wasn’t a bad way to get back on my feet!) I also hung out with the fabulous Power Player girls and Anaheim Ducks youth hockey team. The franchise is celebrating 20 years of Ducks hockey with a new Grand Terrace, new Team Store and special celebrations all season long at the Honda Center.
