Front Row at the Rose Parade
Time flies when you’re having fun … I haven’t had a chance to upload these pix from my FIRST TIME ever attending the Rose Parade, let alone covering it for TV!! It was a fabulous way to kick off the New Year and I loved seeing the floats up close — some of them truly are stunning. My favorites were the giant animal characters that moved around. Much of the excitement was also getting to meet so many people from around the state, country and world. (Including the two most adorable girls from Hiroshima, Japan.) It’s crazy how much people are REALLY into this parade!
The only complaint I have about the whole experience is … the bathroom situation. OMGGG!!! Let’s just say I missed the last part of the parade waiting in line for 30+ minutes for the most atrosh bathroom ever!! (Although it was pretty fun/funny having people ask to take a photo with me while waiting for said disgustingly dirty bathroom – #hilarez!) Oh well… until next year!
