Smokin’: “Girl & a Grill” Downtown
TGIT: If you’re ready for a smokin’ good time, then you might wanna head downtown to Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse for some tasty “Girl and a Grill” action. Going on every Thursday from 5pm to 9pm until the end of summer, chef Megan Logan steps out of the kitchen and on to the restaurant’s patio for a fun flame-to-table dining experience.
Whether you want tri-tip, skirt or flat iron steak, ribs, chicken breast, BBQ shrimp or grilled oysters ($8-$14), you can take your pick from the 14-foot ice tray making sure everything stays chilled before hitting the grill. Want more? Check out the selection of $5 seasonal salads and sides like spicy coleslaw, potato and pasta salad, corn on the cob, veggie skewers and tomato salad to round out a great al fresco meal. (Unless you want to eat inside, but why would you wanna do that?)
Even better, N&S’s “3pm ’til close” happy hour means you can wash it all down with $5 beer, $5 wine and a special $5 “Summer Sloegria” cocktail made with Sloe gin, wine, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, soda water and fresh orange.

Shucked, peeled, picked or plucked, they'll cook it up!
Thursdays 5pm-9pm @ Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse, 330 S Hope St, Los Angeles, CA 90071

Yes, it can get pricey if you’re doing a full dinner @ N&S, but this is a fun and more affordable way to enjoy their food — especially if you go with friends! (FYI: Their Caesar salad is by far the BEST I’ve had in LA … or anywhere!)
this looks great but is it expensive? i’ve had their steaks before but it can get pricey.
