Labor Day Chili Cook-Off, Pink Eggs & Big Band Fun

It was a smokin’ hot Labor Day Weekend thanks to the Delicious Chili & Brewfest at the Queen Mary featuring tons of chili made by 15 competing chefs including champion Clark McGee and his “On the Road Chili” team. Of course, it wouldn’t be Labor Day without a cookout. That’s why I had Provisions Market on the show. This one-stop shop will hook you up any time of year with fresh, all-natural grilling meats and sides. Along with more than 600 bottled craft beers, 30 rotating beers on tap and 100+ wines, Provisions is known for gourmet twists on classic deli foods like all-natural burgers and hot dogs, carne asada, grass-fed New York steaks and pink deviled eggs! I also had a live performance by Western Standard Time -A Big Band tribute to the Skatalites, the seminal Jamaican ska band that influenced everyone from The Clash to No Doubt. This 20+ piece band is 100% old-school class!!!
