Goth & Gorey: The Edwardian Ball - Photo courtesy of www.theblight.net

Edwardian Ball

Welcome to the party, kids. The Edwardian Ball is once again descending in LA for one night of turn-of-the-19th-century whimsy, art, music, theatre, fashion, cocktails, steam punk madness, carnival revelry, parlour games, sideshows, and so much more. Inspired by the late author & illustrator Edward Gorey, every aspect of the party–which is set in the Edwardian era, naturally–gives a reverential nod to the literary cult figure’s darkly humorous yet innocently goth sensibility.

The all ages event, which started over a decade ago in a small underground club in San Francisco, has grown into an international celebration with attendees traveling from as far as Japan and the UK.

Ladies, get ready to don your corsets. Gentlemen, grab your top hats. It’s going to be a wild night.
