If you’re in the mood for crab, hit up AnQi at South Coast Plaza for the Tuesday night roasted crab special. Every week, matriarch and chef, Helene “Mama” An, leaves Crustacean Beverly Hills (her original SoCal family-owned restaurant) to bring dozens of Dungeness crabs to be served at AnQi. And just like Mama does in her kitchen at Crustacean, she works solo in her “secret kitchen” at AnQi, preparing the signature dish that helped put Crustacean on the culinary map decades ago. Best of all, the savory crabs are served with Mama’s famous garlic noodles.

The roasted Dungeness crab weigh an average of two and a half pounds and can be ordered in the shell ($48) or shelled ($53). Just remember–these crustaceans sell out early, so call 24 hours in advance to reserve an order at 714. 557.5679.
