Climbing Walls, Street Trolley Food & Cherry Poppin’ Daddies

So much fun “rock climbing” today for the very first time! The only scary part was letting go of the wall and trusting that the cord wouldn’t drop me. The wall will be at the Downtown Flea this Sunday (and every 4th Sunday of the month) along with 250+ local indie designers, live music and food trucks including Street Foods Co. food trolley, which was originally meant to be an actual trolley in Europe. This thing is so cute, the owner Cristina is the sweetest and the food is ridiculously good – you can watch them make it right in front of you thanks to the low windows. I also had a performance from VIVER BRASIL presents “Intersections/Ajê” at the Ford Amphitheatre and the swingingly awesome Cherry Poppin’ Daddies who just released their first swing album in like forever. (It’s really good, too.) I love that they brought their own iron and ironing board and just whipped it out & started getting ready outside on our lot at 7 in the morning – another first for me. ‪#‎hilarez‬!
