Hi Five: 5 for $5 @ Public Kitchen & Bar
Looking for a fistful of happy? Then you need to head over to Public Kitchen & Bar at the Hollywood Roosevelt for the “5 for 5” happy hour. Going on every Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm (finally, a happy hour that doesn’t end at 5:30!), the menu features five signature items priced at $5 each, including house wine, well drinks, draft beers, a daily specialty cocktail and appetizer.
Chef Tim Goodell’s signature apps range from a yummy mushroom tart with cheese and arugula to chickpea-and-cheese fritters with zaatar aioli (translation: a Middle Eastern spice mix of sesame seeds, sumac, thyme and marjoram) and burrata with bagnet vert and cherry tomatoes (SOOO good!). Even better, valet is $6 with validation.
