Ballin’ with “The Professor” & Wild Animals

With the recent tragic killing of Cecil the lion, I think we’re all more aware about the importance of wildlife conservation and treating animals with dignity and respect. So I asked my friends from the Wildlife Learning Center to bring some beautiful wild animals to the show including a baby lemur, baby ringtail, a red-tailed hawk and, of course, Kingston the squirrel monkey. (He’s #crazy!) I’ve been to this non-profit center in Sylmar and it really is a wonderful little outdoor sanctuary with dozens of rescued wild animals. Definitely check it out if you can!

Speaking of wild, I had street ball legend Grayson “The Professor” Boucher show us some moves to kick off the Ball Up Million Dollar Summer Challenge, the first national summer basketball competition featuring the top players and teams in the country. I’m not a big sports fan, but even I had seen this guy on YouTube (100 million+ views) and Instagram (1+ million followers). He was super sweet and even shy … refreshing that some people still keep it humble in this age of instafame!
