It’s Carnival … Caribbean Style!
It’s National Caribbean-American Heritage Month and you know what that means: It’s time to celebrate Carnival…Caribbean style! To kick off the festivities, I was at Sattdown Jamaican Grill in Studio City to preview all the action on “Good Day LA” with live music from Success Steel Drums and dozens of costumed dancers representing all the cultures of the Caribbean and beyond including Trinidad & Tobago, Brazil, El Salvador and Jamaica. I even had a Caribbean workout from Daily Burn fitness instructor and dancer Keaira LaShae who showed us that jerk chicken is NOT just for eating!
I’ll be one of the grand marshals at the big Hollywood Carnival parade on Saturday, June 22, so be sure to come by and say hello, mon!
