One-Cent Brews for Canned Food
Want to indulge your love of beer and spread some holiday cheer all at the same time? Beer Belly, the much ballyhooed craft brew bar in K-town, has committed to collecting more than 400 pounds of food for the LA Food Bank by November 27th and in order to meet this goal, they’re asking you to bring in any canned food and in exchange they’ll hand you a delicious craft beer. (Much like their Craft for Crap party in August, they can’t legally give you a free beer, so just give ’em a penny along with your canned food and it’s all good.)
Beer Belly will also have ‘beerologist’ Chris Day introducing the new beer Bloody Mary and bellini as part of the Sunday Brunch — you know, the brunch with the Chicken in Waffles and Lucky Charms pancakes with Fruity Pebbles whipped cream? Yeah, that one. FYI, it’s one penny beer per person, but it’s better to give than to receive, right?
